Mission statement


GDCA exists to empower the citizenry of deprived communities in northern Ghana to work for economic and social development and sound environmental practices for better living conditions.
Our core values are

Our Goals are

    1. To ensure that all children of school-going age in Northern Ghana have access to quality education at least at the basic level
    2. To ensure improved and sustainable livelihoods of deprived communities and poor households
    3. To promote the efficient and effective management of natural resources, the environment and climate change for the benefit of the citizenry
    4. To enhance capacities of local people to realize individual and community needs, rights and responsibilities and to take measures to have these needs, rights and responsibilities fulfilled
    5. To maintain a credible and legitimate organization based on popular participation and democratic principles.
